Urayasu splits sharply between two eras and two train lines. To the south along the JR Keiyo Line sit theme parks, wide palm-lined avenues, and reclaimed fill. To the north along the Tozai Line lies the former fishing village with narrow alleys and traditional clam shops. Moving between the two requires a local bus, as no train directly connects them.
