The very friendly welcome from the hostess was very pleasant. The pastoral and quiet surroundings, the cleanliness and coziness of the room and the excellent breakfast. Nothing.

Friendly reception, lots of explanations about the area and what could be seen. Very well prepared breakfast. Tidy, neat room. Sound insulation left to be desired; could hear everything downstairs from the bedroom.

Wonderful host lady and gentleman. Very nice. Speak excellent English and Dutch. Great breakfast. Spacious room. Nothing. Everything was more than prime.

We fully agree with the excellent reviews that De Horizon has received so far. What stands out especially is a strength that sets very good pensions like this (of which there are unfortunately fewer and fewer) apart from hotels: the subtle individual attention to us guests with recommendations for daily activities (in hotels there are usually only flyers). This 'card' is fully used by the hostess, not least with a rich, superb breakfast. We benefited greatly from it.
