The rooms were spotless and the bed was very comfy, making it a solid choice for a single night. However, the hotel feels rather old‑fashioned and plain, especially the bar, which lacks any real personality.

I arrived to find no towels in my room, which was a bit disappointing.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choices, the bar food was also good and cost was about average for the area. Staff were very helpful. We were in a room at the very back of the hotel, as advised by the receptionist we had to run the hot water tap for between 8 to 10 mins before the water got hot. Also the TV reception was very poor

On site restaurant very nice.Good size room. Stairs were an issue but nice man helped out
