The reception was incredibly warm and the staff were genuinely friendly! The room was beautiful and the view was great. The restaurant served good food and it’s just next to the sea, plus you can rent boards right there. A couple of things could improve: darker curtains would block more light, and the road noise still comes through the room.

The location was spot‑on and fantastic. The only downside was that the Wi‑Fi was a bit patchy if you’re particular about connectivity.

Getting to the family room by the pool was a breeze, with minimal stairs for Grandma, and the staff were great. The music on the first night was pleasant, making the whole beach getaway feel effortless. One suggestion: provide a gallon for guests to refill water bottles—there’s no water in the rooms—so you cut down on plastic while still giving guests easy access. Also, refillable soap and shampoo/conditioner would be helpful to avoid plastic and make it easier for guests.

The nearby mosques were loud, especially the speakers at 5 a.m., which disturbed our sleep. Because of that, I wouldn’t stay in Medwei again. The surfing wasn’t beginner‑friendly, but the beach massage was amazing.
