The accommodation is in a superb location. The room was perfectly adequate with a large balcony, kitchen, and small bathroom. The pool is big. We were welcomed warmly, shown the room, and given information immediately; since the host lives on site, there is always someone to talk to. The rooms and the entire property are very clean and well maintained. Plenty of free parking is available in front of the house. The house itself is very quiet, even though it was fully booked. The bed was too soft and the blankets were thick. (Stay at the beginning of September) There was no hand soap in the bathroom and no towel to dry hands after washing. The pool was open from 8‑19 h; longer hours to swim again in the evening would have been preferable.

Nothing. The booking page claimed a two‑bedroom apartment with a living room and a bed, but it was actually a single room with a single bed. The bedding had hair in it. In summer you have to clean the place on the last day. You must pay the local tax when booking says taxes are included, and if you have a Visa card it takes an extra 3 %. The staff were not friendly.

The size of the holiday apartment, the kitchen equipment, and the presence of a pool were positives. Unfortunately, we never felt welcomed: the reception was never staffed, and other young guests were immediately threatened with a ban in the pool for jumping from the edge. There were many prohibition signs, but sometimes you just want to relax when it’s quiet, and that didn’t bother us. Incorrect information was given about the tourist ticket for Ruhpolding. During the key handover, the process was overly strict: we had cleaned, even removed the shower wall with a rubber strap, taken out the trash, and we were scolded unkindly that the breakfast dishes were being washed in the dishwasher and not yet dried in the cabinet. The value for money was catastrophic.

“Wonderful”

The apartment was incredibly beautiful, fully equipped, and you feel completely at home with a kind host. The only drawback is that check‑out is at 10:00 AM, which can be a bit stressful.
