“Relaxing rural stopover”

Nice traditional building in a rural setting near Altomonte. Fly nets on the bedroom window let you sleep with an open window. The restaurant attached to the accommodation serves fantastic food in a pleasant setting. It’s a bit hard to find—type the name or coordinates into your GPS, otherwise using the address will lead you to the wrong spot.

The location is incredible, the host was extremely available and even brought dinner to the room, plus the breakfast is excellent and included.

A secluded cottage in the fields, quiet. You can enjoy a typical Calabrian meal at the owner’s place. The owner and his family were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in March, but the cottage never warmed up.

The property is very charming, set in a natural environment so very peaceful, yet close to the provincial road, making it a good spot for exploring the area. Breakfast is served in a bar/trattoria run by the same owner. The owner is very friendly, kind, and helpful.

The location is super convenient, tucked away in silence and nature, just a five‑minute drive to the highway. The only thing that could improve the stay would be a couple of slightly more comfortable chairs, but they don’t really affect the overall experience.
