The hostel is conveniently located in the city centre, and you can’t hear the city noise in the courtyard. The staff are welcoming and willing to compromise. You can grab a bite without leaving the hostel, and the common area gets cleaned daily. However, the sound insulation inside the hostel itself is poor – almost everything can be heard from the corridor and the balcony.

I liked almost everything: the location, the overall cleanliness of the hostel, the kitchen has plenty of dishes and appliances, the staff are friendly, and there’s a bonus café on the first floor. The only downside is the noise insulation in the room, but maybe next time I won’t notice it.

My brother enjoyed a wonderful stay at Yard Hostel Chernivtsi. The place is super clean, in an awesome location, and everything runs very smoothly. The team working there is amazingly friendly and helpful. He's already planning to stay here again on his next visit.

The location is fantastic and the place is clean. The only problem is that there’s always a queue for the bathroom – two people at the hostel.
