Located in Penedo, Pousada Reserva Penedo is a guest house surrounded by the rich Atlantic Forest, offering air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private balconies with garden views. The breakfast and the landscaping are nice. The wooden door in the room feels shaky and the closet is swollen; it needs maintenance.

The heated pool area is a highlight. However, the pool space is very small, forcing guests to book a time slot to use it.

The bed and pillows are comfortable, the rooms are clean, staff are extremely polite, and the breakfast is good. I didn't like having to schedule a time slot for the sauna and heated pool; only one room at a time is allowed and only for one hour, which is horrible. I chose the hotel only because it had a heated pool for the rainy days of my stay, and the beer in the hotel was not cold enough.

Cleanliness, excellent service, and breakfast are all good, the room is comfortable, and the shower in the bathroom is very good. I liked everything.
