The property has a fantastic location just two minutes from the beach. The staff and owner are very kind. Breakfast includes fresh fruit (and more) every day. The quality‑price ratio is excellent.

We loved Simba House… it was perfect for what we wanted. Clean, well‑maintained pool, large room, comfortable bed and a large balcony to chill. Daniel, Patrick and the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked the small kitchenette where we could make breakfast. We loved all the trees and garden. The nearest beach had a lot of seaweed when we were there, so we ended up traveling to other beaches.

The couple of owners are very cute, the staff, especially the guy at the entrance, is super nice. Great location, great quality‑price. The sheets were stained; they are washed but still need to be spot‑cleaned. Cleaning is daily but not European standard.

The breakfast was good, very clean, and the staff were friendly, but there were no air‑conditioners even though they were promised.

The facilities were lovely, especially the pool for cooling off after a long day, and the hosts were helpful and informative; the kettle in the room let me boil all my drinking water, cutting out plastic waste, and right outside the accommodation there were plenty of transport options to explore Watamu’s sights like the bio ken snake farm, Arabuko Sokoke Forest reserve, Gede ruins, Mida Creek for a mangrove boardwalk and canoe ride with a guide, and a small beach.
