“Nie polecam”
The food was tasty. Plastic cups for drinks, wine, coffee, and beer should be replaced with glass. The bed was squeaky, the slats under the mattress were cracked. The shower was old‑fashioned with a curtain, the headset fell off. There was no bottled water in the room, no kettle. The plaza was 15 minutes on foot from the hotel.
“Kids camp for adults with wasps all over the food”
I told them I would arrive between 11 pm and 1 am, which they accepted. My flight was cancelled and I had to book a new one. I sent them a message via Booking to inform them I’d arrive the next day and also asked friends already there to notify reception. I arrived around 10:30 pm the next night, and they had no room for me. They claimed I didn’t arrive within 24 hours of the original booking, said my friends’ notice didn’t count, and that they hadn’t received my message. It was a nightmare. I ended up sleeping on a bunk bed in a friend’s room without any sheets. Awful. They refused a refund. They let me have breakfast in the morning, but be warned, there are hundreds of wasps crawling over the food and flying everywhere.

The pool was a highlight, with warm water that made it enjoyable. However, the food stayed the same all day, and there were no pancakes in the morning. The room was disappointing – water from the shower leaked into the room, the AC dripped onto the floor, the bedding was worn, and the outlets were broken. The beds themselves were broken, with screws missing, creating a tragic sight. There were cockroaches in the rooms, and the internet was completely absent, neither Wi‑Fi nor mobile data. We booked a room with a garden view, but instead received a view of a deserted street with a tree in the background.

The food was very good (the booking was full of negative comments on this point and we didn’t find it justified), breakfast varied, meals were tasty. The entertainment was good, we caught a fun DJ night. The beach is right there! The pools were very dirty, you couldn’t see the bottom. We chose this hotel because it had tubogans for our child; although there were two, only one worked— the other had no water so it couldn’t be used as intended, leaving us stuck halfway. Still, it was fun because there was never a line. Some areas of the hotel smelled very bad (but that’s how it is on the whole island). Outside of meals there was nothing to eat, just sugary fruit salad or wraps with only lettuce and onion. The fruit at lunch and dinner was always watermelon and orange; they could vary! The hotel has many construction and finish flaws. Wi‑Fi doesn’t work and there is almost no mobile coverage, which turned out to be good because we felt completely disconnected. The kids club operates in a place that isn’t inviting, dark, and doesn’t seem to have many facilities. Moreover, it was not advertised; we only discovered it by chance.
It’s hard to compare this place to other typical hotels. There’s no Wi‑Fi in the rooms and cellular service is dead; a staff member mentioned that the owner doesn’t want it there. The elevator is extremely slow. Most of the food was low quality, and the alcohol was the worst. The property is poorly maintained, with a lot of rust and mold in some areas.
