The forest surroundings provided a truly immersive Bali-like experience, but the poor accessibility and tight bathroom facilities were significant drawbacks. I had to climb down from the forest to reach the bathroom, which was quite inconvenient.

“Einfache Baum-Häuschen in grandioser Lage”

I was initially confused with the Instagram hotspot at Diamond Beach, but Rumah Pohon is a unique, self-built treehouse experience that offers breathtaking views and a great host. While it's not luxurious, the location is stunning, and the host is very attentive. The zip line to the parking area was a fun touch. However, it's essential to note that the treehouses are simple and not luxurious.

I had the most incredible experience at this hotel, thanks in large part to the exceptional hospitality of the owner, Pak Ketut. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, carrying our bags and treating us to generous snacks and drinks. The meals he prepared for us were truly exceptional, and he even helped arrange our transportation to our next destination.

“Everything is awesome, but we couldn't get a bath 😅”

Our stay at this hotel was a mixed bag, but it did cover our basic needs of safety and food. Upon arrival, we were a bit disoriented in the dark forest, but the owner's prompt response and guidance helped us find our way to the treehouse. He even provided us with snacks and was kind enough to lead us through the forest. The zip line at check-out was a thrilling experience, and we appreciated the owner's efforts to make our stay comfortable.
