The room felt very warm, welcoming, and informative, and I enjoyed the space and the large desk. A sound‑proof ceiling would have been nice, because hearing the sink run at 1 am from upstairs was distracting.

The hotel was modern and clean, just 5 minutes from the Heritage Precinct, supermarkets, and restaurants. The manager was a super helpful lady who made sure all guests had what they needed and settled in easily, and on our departure she helped us find a suitable route to Christchurch in unexpected snow—her time was truly appreciated.

The rooms were warm, clean, and well‑equipped with modern bathrooms, and the building was within walking distance of several restaurants. The hosts were great.

The accommodation in central Cromwell was excellent—warm, with great beds. Parking was convenient and the hosts were outstanding. I would definitely recommend it.
