The hotel is close to the light rail and the shopping district, with plenty of places to eat nearby, but the room felt dated, we had to lug our luggage up three flights of stairs because there’s no elevator, smoke from another room drifted in through the air‑conditioning, there’s no lounge, the sound‑proofing is poor and the bed was so soft we couldn’t sleep; to make matters worse we were hit with a weekend rate that was more than double the normal price, which felt completely unreasonable.

The barbecue restaurant is very close to the hotel. All the equipment feels worn out.

The spot is superb, just steps from the light rail and surrounded by eateries, though the building lacks an elevator.
