Hotel Miramonte is situated at Bad Gastein's foot, overlooking the Gastein Valley. The hotel features a sun terrace with panoramic views, Aveda Spa with holistic massages and thermal spring, and individually designed rooms with valley views. Guests enjoy a rich breakfast buffet, Slow Food cuisine, and homemade beer. The hotel offers a private shuttle to the nearby waterfall and ski lifts.

The lounge was cozy, the terrace nicely furnished, and there was a wide selection of design and architecture books. The location is only a few minutes on foot from the waterfall. Aside from the front desk, there was no German‑speaking staff.

The architecture library was very good. The access was difficult, parking was scarce, the garden was not maintained at all, the exterior of the building looked in need of renovation, and the price‑value ratio is off.

The reception was very friendly and we received a free room upgrade. The location is great, the sauna offering is nice, and the breakfast is excellent with a large selection for vegetarians and vegans.
