The bed was comfy and pets were allowed, but the breakfast was minimal and the decor felt worn out.

“Decent place to stay”

The spot was spot-on, right on the main road with plenty of gas stations, eateries and shops nearby, and the room itself was spotless. The stairs were steep and only had a railing on one side, plus there was no AC in the stairwell or hallway, so the room was warm when I got in and I had to crank the AC up to a decent temperature. The toilet was low and had no grab bars for safety when getting up or sitting down.

“They are pretty much the only hotel in the small town of Watseka so you don't get any other choices.”

I liked the location for my travel needs, but the building is old and clearly needs an overhaul. The staff were cold and unfriendly, as if they didn’t care whether I stayed or not. They asked for a confirmation number and a pin that I’d never had to give before, and when I told the front desk clerk I’d have to dig through my luggage, she insisted I show it or I couldn’t book. We were the only car in the parking lot, yet they still couldn’t confirm my name even though it was right there.

Breakfast was decent, the location was great, the people were very friendly and helpful, and the beds and room were fantastic – a very nice place to stay. The only downside was that breakfast could have offered a few more options.

“Was a good place for quick overnight stay but would not recommend for long stay.”

Breakfast was descent. Not a lot of selection but still good. Fresh fruit and muffins would be nice. Room not stocked properly after last stay. Barely any toilet paper, just enough for 1 visit bathroom and was out and no refill in room. One Kleenex in box in bathroom and no refills. Had changed for bed and was going to get refills but early front desk needed to call for help. Too early to disturb. Only 1 napkin at breakfast station also
