The getaway was overall very nice. The hotel sits right by the trout pond and is a good starting point for hikes. It’s quiet yet central, with restaurants and bakeries within walking distance, and the Italian place across the street is top‑class. We dined out for dinner because the on‑site food was really pricey. Breakfast at the hotel was truly first‑rate, and for my husband’s birthday the table was beautifully set. The staff were friendly everywhere—at breakfast, the reception, and the bar—always polite and knowledgeable. Our room, a country house style with a mountain view, was also lovely and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the tiny bathtub in the bathroom; there was no shower, even though a shower would have fit, making it awkward to shower. The wellness area and pool were very nice, and the pool was large enough for swimming. All in all, a very pleasant and relaxing short holiday.
