Great youth hostel, the staff were very friendly and warm. Excellent location on the outskirts near Drachensee. We were adults here, but it was still very pleasant. Because you have to include the membership fee, I found it a bit pricey, but considering how committed the JuHe’s are, it’s okay

“Clean and modern Hostel with breakfast”

We were a family of five and only stayed one night. The rooms were clean, modern and roomy. Breakfast was plentiful and everyone could eat to their heart’s content. The hostel sits just outside town on the road to Drachensee, and if you’re up for a walk you can reach the lake in about 20 minutes (no kids). We had to bring our own towels, but the hostel does provide them if you forget. The heat was intense and there’s no air‑conditioning, so we brought two small table fans that did the trick. The shower area had only two tiny hooks for towels and clothes, which made it hard for three kids and me to shower at once. My husband is Australian, I’m German, and there was nothing in English for international guests, so it didn’t feel very tourist‑friendly.
