The location was excellent, the staff were friendly, Pat the landlord was a lot of fun, the breakfast was good, and I’ll definitely return.

The Dukes Head Inn, a historic Victorian-era inn, is situated in the charming town of Richmond upon Thames, within 700 meters of Richmond Station, the town centre, and the River Thames. This 16 km London suburb offers en suite rooms with TVs and tea/coffee facilities, limited free parking, and a traditional pub serving classic English and modern cuisine, along with a full English breakfast each morning.

The hotel was very pleasant with a friendly host and a pub on site; the location was fantastic and the host suggested lovely walking routes, though the toilet/dish was somewhat poor.

The food was outstanding, with a tasty variety that impressed me; the evening pub vibe was lively, and the staff happily catered to my requests for the big‑screen viewing. Finding the place was easy and a short stroll brought me into town, but the room felt a bit over‑furnished and worn, needing some TLC and updates in certain areas.
