The apartment was bright, homey, and very comfortable, but the only drawback was the steep stairs to the unit. If you’re not fit, that could be a challenge. In our case, Ivo kindly carried our heavy bags up the stairs—thanks again to our host!

A charming little private apartment tucked into a quiet neighborhood; everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. The hosts were especially accommodating, letting us check out late for our evening flight ❤️. The only caveat is that the stairs to the apartment are steep, so bring that into your planning if you have large luggage. Also, a public transport renovation is underway, so the line in front of the house is out of service and the nearest metro station is about 1.3 km away.

Everything was excellent—great host, convenient location, no complaints. Shops and restaurants are nearby, and the city center isn’t too far. Just be aware that the stairs are quite steep.

The host paid close attention to detail, was very friendly and hospitable, and the place had a distinctive character.

It looks like a storybook cottage, very pretty. It comfortably accommodates four people and has everything needed for a short stay. The place was a bit dirty; there was a small speck at the bed joint. The staircase is steep, but that’s typical for Amsterdam.
