The view of the ocean was excellent

The staff were really super nice and the ocean view was stunning. The room was spacious and spotless, but the water pressure in the shower was very low.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and kind. The location is good (on the beach), but it seems a bit over‑reliant on that as the main selling point. For the price I’d expect a few more services; there’s no phone reception in some rooms, which wasn’t made clear when booking. The WiFi is fine, but it can be inconvenient for those who need phone service. The hotel amenities feel a bit old and dated, and the breakfast buffet was very simple—I’d expect more options for the price.

The location was lovely, with sunbeds on a private beach that was roped off and security guards on duty, so no touts bothered us. We could easily see local activities right in front of us—kids playing soccer and swimming every evening, horses passing by at breakfast, and many dhows sailing by. The staff were lovely and very helpful; I had a mobility scooter and they were always ready to assist. The resort didn’t advertise itself as disabled‑friendly, but a small ramp to the dining room and the swimming pool would make it very easy for disabled guests. The sheets on the beds need upgrading, but it’s still a nice small‑hotel feel with plenty of shade between the rooms.

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this was probably the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. For a hotel that costs around $200 per night, I would at least expect a decent breakfast. They couldn’t even slice the cheese properly—they just put out huge blocks of it. The coffee was absolutely terrible, so I ended up paying for coffee from the machine every single day. All the food at the hotel was terrible; we tried both lunch and dinner, but we couldn’t even eat it. I honestly think the entire kitchen needs a complete overhaul! The massage was disappointing as well. The road leading to the hotel is terrible, and even though the hotel is right on the ocean, the beach isn’t really suitable for swimming. We had to go to other beaches every day just to swim. Overall, this place is definitely not worth the money!
