Vista do Lago Jungle Lodge

The whole trip, from the transfer to the check‑out, was fantastic—everything ran smoothly. Our guide was incredibly friendly and spent plenty of time with us, and the chef was a true artist, making the food absolutely delicious.

“Nice lodge, nice people, great experience”

Communication with the lodge was spot‑on and we received all the details we needed before arriving. We stayed during the low season, so there was plenty of water at the lodge, and despite a few wildfires nearby, the guides went above and beyond to compensate. Jungle trekking was my favorite, but every excursion was enjoyable. David and Paulo were very knowledgeable and made each activity worthwhile. We missed seeing the stars, but David always found a way to keep us entertained. The food was outstanding and the chef was amazing. Everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome, and I appreciated how Paulo and David cared deeply about nature.

“The best experience you can get in Amazonas”

Everything was perfect! If there is a way to rate 120 I will give the full score of 120. Before arriving I was very much concerned on mosquitos, spiders, different insects and snakes as that’s what I thought of Brazil, and I was worried about the condition of the hotel. The lodge was perfect, sealed room with good AC, no insects at all, comfortable bed, hot water and everything. The hotel staffs were friendly, did their best to meet our needs. The 3 meals were delicious, great juice, fruit, and local fish, everyday there are different options and doesn’t repeat. The tours were amazing, the guides were very experienced, and very friendly, we built a heart to heart relationship with Seu Manuel, a humble person full of experience, knowledge of the region. Our trip wouldn’t be the same without him. We have seen pink elephants, saw Jacaré, fed monkeys, fished piranha, and saw tones of different birds and he knows all of their names. We have experienced the best sunset swimming in the warm water of Rio negro, and saw the beautiful sky of Amazonas without light pollutions. Leaving the lodge, my eyes were wet, I know I would miss the lodge, the lago, the forest, and these nice and humble people. Thank you vista do lago. Nothing

“Unforgettable! 5”

This lodge was fantastic, and the food completely blew us away. Everything was super fresh, and the staff put so much effort into the daily buffet with different local fish cooked in amazing ways. Our guides, David and Manoel, went above and beyond. Even though the lodge was full, we had them all to ourselves, making the whole trip feel like a private tour. We crammed so much into a few days: cayman spotting, stargazing, swimming with pink dolphins, a jungle trek, and visits to a local village and turtle project. We even ate the piranhas we caught for dinner! Sunrise from the observation tower and the views over the lake were unreal. My absolute favorite was the birdwatching tour, where I finally saw a sloth (a total dream of mine!), plus monkeys and tons of birds, including herons. The incredible service, private guides, and atmosphere more than made up for the room size. Absolutely deserves 5 stars! The only downside was the room was pretty small with nowhere to put clothes, so we used the second bed as a table. We also had a minor issue with the shower, but the staff jumped on it immediately to sort it out.

“Our stay was exceptional and it exceeded all our expectations.”

Everything about our experience was outstanding. The communication with us before arriving was excellent, the transport logistics to the lodge were efficient, the warm welcome, the quality of the rooms was excellent. The location is right on the river, which was amazing. The food was simply outstanding. Everything about the experience was absolutely fantastic. The guide/interpreter that they had allocated to us was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable.
