We arrived on the evening of 23.07, and our wedding was the next day, 24.07; we had booked a LUX for about six months in advance. When we checked in, we were handed a room that wasn’t ours – it was a deluxe. We went down to reception and were told there were no free luxury rooms, that people would be checked out tomorrow and we could move in, but we were supposed to be in the morning for the bride, groom, and photo shoot. Naturally, we were shocked. We were a group of 20, and the room was given to my sister, even though everything was booked separately; she had no connection to my reservation. No one mentioned that she was a relative, and our surnames differ. The receptionist mistakenly gave her a luxury room instead of a deluxe. At least it was given to my sister; if it had been someone else, what would I do? The staff even claimed to have given a luxury room to the last person in your group without checking if that person had booked a luxury room, while my sister had booked a deluxe. I was very nervous. It was a very unpleasant situation, especially because I had a wedding. Overall, the hotel is wonderful, the breakfasts are delicious, and the staff, especially those at the bar and the restaurant where we had breakfast, are very pleasant.

The room was spacious, with a large balcony, clean, beautiful, and the views were stunning; the staff were friendly and smiling.

We appreciated the upgrade they gave us without us even telling them we were celebrating; the room was amazing with uninterrupted views of the mountains and vineyards. We were off‑season, so the kitchen wasn’t fully functional.

The property offered great value for money, especially in low season. Breakfast was good, even if simple, and the quiet atmosphere made the stay peaceful. The surroundings were pleasant, and despite the lack of guests, the experience felt calm and unhurried. For travellers looking for affordability and a tranquil environment, the property delivers well. However, the property was completely empty during our stay and clearly needs more maintenance and attention from both staff and management. Facilities felt neglected, and several areas required upkeep. Breakfast lacked variety, likely due to low occupancy, and overall the property felt like it needed more active care to reach its potential. The experience was acceptable but could be significantly improved with better maintenance.
