Steam Train Hotel

It was spacious, very nice, and the owner was accommodating. However, it wasn’t clean at all, and I felt very uncomfortable about the lack of cleanliness.

“Location was perfect for proximity to catching train.”

Breakfast options were minimal but adequate. The rooms definitely need an upgrade, and I didn’t like that the hotel had no reception area or anyone on duty when we arrived.

The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom and shower were moldy, the floors were only vacuumed along the walls, and the table and chairs were rickety with no proper place to sit and relax.

It’s a very unique hotel with interesting memorabilia, nice and close to the train station. It was perfect for our stay, and the owners and staff were very friendly.

“Got a better review online than the other hotel in the town.”

It’s close to the Steam Train. Checking in was very hard because a small sign said you had to call someone. The bathroom was tiny, the shower was hard to use without splashing the whole room, and the room itself was very small. Breakfast was mediocre; we didn’t take advantage of it. The fridge had brown bananas, and we had to make our own coffee.
