The facilities and view were impressive. The pillows in the rooms were too soft, which made it hard to sleep.
“Estar en plena selva”
The location is unbeatable for visiting Tikal. There is no air conditioning and only a ceiling fan, which isn’t enough. The pool bar is closed, and there’s only one restaurant for meals.
We got sick from contaminated food outside the hotel, and it was a terrible experience. When the hotel staff learned about it, the concierge, security, cleaning, and kitchen teams were all extremely attentive, rating a perfect 10/10, and they helped us turn a bad moment into a wonderful experience.
