The owners were friendly, giving a warm welcome and keeping the place lovely and clean. The room was spotless and comfortable. The food was delicious and everything was handled with ease. We’d return in a heartbeat. Thanks so much, Stu & Mavis, for everything.

This stop was the best part of our holidays. It was our last night in Scotland, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were so nice that we spent hours talking with them. Normally we stay in hotels for short periods, but here we wanted to leave Edinburgh early and ended up checking out late the next day because we had such a great time with the hosts.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. The couple running the hotel showed us our rooms and explained everything clearly. The rooms and the entire hotel are tastefully decorated; everything is very new since the recent renovation. The couple also made a real effort to chat with us, for example in the bar area in the evenings, and gave us good tips for visiting Edinburgh. Breakfast was always freshly prepared, and we were asked in detail how we wanted it. It was very abundant and tasty! The hotel is very quiet, located in a small countryside town. With only 3 rooms, it’s tidy and the distances are short. Parking is free directly in front on the street. Overall, it was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. You can tell the couple enjoy their job. A heartfelt thank you for everything. No complaints.

The hotel was lovely, the room and bathroom were spacious, and there was plenty of coffee and tea. The hosts were absolutely charming and the breakfast, freshly cooked, was brilliant. I would definitely stay again. Nothing negative.
