I found the place filthy, the room was a disaster, there was no air‑conditioning or even a fan, the curtain was nailed to the window so you either get swarmed by mosquitoes or suffer in a hot room, none of the locks on the doors worked, not even the one on the bathroom, and a few rooms only had a tiny fridge; the common area was a real dump of dirty dishes and food scraps. I honestly do not recommend it. Even if the price seems attractive for Balaton, everyone deserves a bit of comfort – better pay a little extra for a decent stay.

Nothing pleased me, and neither did the moment we left. The name is not even that of the guesthouse: Limonádé. The building and its surroundings are untidy, showing that better days have passed. There are no mosquito nets on the bedroom windows, the air is dusty and stagnant, and the staff know nothing. After some complaints we finally got a clean room, but the air‑conditioner was broken, perhaps better because it would have just blown dust. A cable hangs from the wall, water drips from the tap. I do not recommend it to anyone. I don’t know how this place gets a business license.

The hosts were very nice, and I can’t understand why anyone would give a bad review or complain about spiders – it’s a forest property with a connected campsite. On site there’s a microwave, a two‑burner stove, a kettle and a coffee machine, and the room itself has a fridge. There’s also an outdoor pool. Value for money is top. The beds are plain and you sweat a lot in the synthetic sheets.

“Omijajcie z daleka!”

I do not recommend this place! Upon arrival we encountered absolutely unacceptable and health‑threatening conditions that made it unsuitable for any stay. The room had dead bugs, dirty and worn mattresses, cobwebs, torn curtains, and a very strong, unpleasant odor. The interiors were neglected, dirty, and far from any sanitary standards. Additionally, a group of about ten men under the influence of alcohol was present in the building next door, watching us in an intrusive and unsettling way. We couldn’t spend even a moment there, let alone a whole day. Importantly, there was no owner on site; instead, a likely father of the owner, also intoxicated, appeared and we couldn’t have any conversation with him. After several failed phone attempts to contact the owner, we only managed to reach him with the help of a woman staying there, whom we spoke to in English. Moreover, when we were already on the premises, that drunken man suddenly began tying the gate next to the property with a metal rope and locking it, which further caused us great anxiety and a sense of danger. This behavior was extremely irresponsible and incomprehensible – combined with the environment and the condition of the property, it convinced us that staying longer would be not only uncomfortable but potentially dangerous.

Terrible quality! There were a lot of spiders in the room and the bathroom, filth, mud, and stench everywhere. Dead insects, spiders, and living ones were everywhere. The shower was unusable because the shower head was bad, and we were told towels were not available even though we asked for them. The fridge was dirty, full of filth, and stinky. No air‑conditioning, no TV, nothing. Just filth and mud everywhere! It might have been a good place at some point…
