The location, ambience, and jungle setting were amazing; the staff were insistent on partying and drinking beer (which can be fine for most), communication was difficult but not impossible, they kept calling the manager each time, the rooms were not spider‑proof and that scared us, and the food wasn’t very good—better to eat in town in our case.

I had the best experience at this place! The family is super helpful and friendly! There is a waterfall nearby where we swam. The family cooked for us and in the evening we had fun with karaoke. Warmest recommendation from me!

The hosts were adorable and the food was excellent, but the mattress was hard foam.

“Cozy with really kind hosts”

Very friendly hosts and a beautiful location in the mountains right next to the jungle. They showed us how life is as a local in the area by taking us on a tour in the jungle to catch food, then we helped cooking dinner with what we found. We also sang karaoke with them which was super fun!
