I’m not thrilled to write this review because the location was beautiful and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, as soon as I entered my room I saw bed bugs crawling over the bed. I understand it can happen in such a busy tourist place, but when I checked under the mattress I saw no one had ever cleaned it. The sheets were very dirty. They offered me another room on a different tree, so I told myself it would be fine, since it was far from the infested one. That room was very simple, like the other one, but clean and tidy. I was happy with the solution until they told me I had to pay double the price for this room. I don’t really see the point of paying more because the room is clean compared to the other one. All of them should be clean! Another issue is that they acted like bed bugs were not such a big deal, so I don’t think they tried to get rid of them. Just be aware. The positive side is they refunded my money, no anger, they were polite.

The tent gives an authentic safari feel. The lodge staff arranged a full‑day safari and jungle walk. It was a very relaxing stay and a great addition to a trekking holiday.

One of my favourite places I’ve stayed! Food was incredible, the yoga deck for personal practice was beautiful, and the natural swimming pool with its view is breathtaking in the morning! The staff were friendly; a group of younger friends run it, so it’s casual but I liked that. I think it could feel cleaner; I had a private bathroom but it was used by others and was not clean on arrival or cleaned daily. Also, it’s still under renovation, so there are a lot of workmen around.
