The spot is in a prime area, the room is tidy and the bed is comfy, and the staff are friendly. It offers good value for a stay in central Ortigia. However, the Wi‑Fi fails inside the room and only works faintly if you stand by the open window. The room itself is simple, pretty, and perfectly adequate, but the shower is tiny, and you have to climb stairs to the second floor because the elevator isn’t working. Breakfast is very basic: a small coffee machine, packaged pastries, and a fridge with milk, juice, and yogurt.
