The location was gorgeous and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the lack of net curtains for privacy; the heavy curtains were too dark for daytime use.

The spot was spot on, the room blew me away, the staff were sweet, and the food hit the mark. The only gripe: the porridge at breakfast – my husband was excited for authentic Scottish porridge, but it was tasteless, inedible, and looked like wallpaper paste.

The location and breakfast were good. The rooms were nice, but they were musty and smelled unpleasant.
