“Well kept, clean”
The place was clean and the parking was fine, though a few extra towels and shampoo would help; it was very clean 👍🏻, and adding fresh fruit to the breakfast menu would be great.

The location was close to many amenities, which was a plus, but I didn’t like that there was no coffee in the room, the TV remote didn’t work, and the complimentary breakfast was underwhelming; the coffee in the room would have been nice, but the remote for the TV was a bit annoying.

The hotel had no heat; the town’s temperature was expected to hit 63 °F, but they said it would warm up and that the boilers had been turned off. My 88‑year‑old mother was cold at 75 °F, and a room at 61 °F was totally unacceptable. They offered a small heater that was very loud, so it had to be turned off for her to sleep. One bathroom sink had a large crack through the center. The other room lacked plug‑in covers. The bathroom my mother used had no wall handrails. The clerk charged me two early check‑in fees for a single reservation covering two rooms, when only one fee should have applied.

I was very disappointed. I needed a ride from the airport, but it took over 45 minutes to arrive. When I called reception to ask where it was, they just said, “oh, just wait, they work for other hotels too.” The shuttle finally showed up with the logos of two other hotels on the side, while the Leduc Hotel shuttle with 15 hotel logos had come and gone twice. When I got there, I asked for a wake‑up call, only to realize later that there was no phone in the room. On top of that, I found hair on the towels, footprints on the bathroom floor, smudges on the mirror, and little bugs everywhere. I asked for basic items to be replaced and cleaned, which was appreciated, but honestly no one should have been allowed to stay in that room in that condition.

The room was clean, but it was cold and the heater wouldn’t turn on. The light above the bed had a missing knob, making the metal stem hard to use; the aerator on the faucet was missing, causing water to splash out, and the bathtub lacked a hand rail, creating holes that let water spill during showers.
