Hotel de Blauwe Vogel

I liked the restaurant, but the bathroom was tiny and the sink was small. The light near the bed didn’t work.

The room was pretty, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly.

It was very quiet, so I slept well. The breakfast and service were disappointing: two women were constantly busy, only partially set up the buffet, and I ended up grabbing the bread (small tray) myself from the kitchen. Those two women didn’t work well together; one was counting money while the other dealt with outside matters. The breakfast itself was bland, just white bread, and the coffee cups were tiny, so I asked for a second. The whole spread was very plain, and the staff seemed uncommitted to me.

The atmosphere was good.

“Plus jamais”

I didn’t like the return and there was an unpleasant smell; the stairs were very dangerous.
