The location is really good and the owner’s communication was quick. However, water ran out on the first few days and I had to shower elsewhere. The mattress and pillows were not comfortable at all, the air‑conditioning was lacking, the cabinets were old, rusty, and didn’t lock… overall the place needs a lot of maintenance. On the second day of my stay, people entered the room and took several of my belongings – the front gate didn’t lock and, combined with the unlabeled cabinets, the situation worsened. I was at a loss and I don’t recommend it.

Inside the cabin the powerful AC, single bed, hooks for bags, extra outlets, shelf, mirror, cozy lighting, and complimentary water in the mini‑fridge made it feel well thought out. The bathroom outside is beautiful and comfortable, and the large outdoor drying rack was handy; the string‑lamp lighting was lovely. Ane, the host, was attentive and helpful. The location is superb, just minutes from the main square, pharmacy, market, and restaurants. Beco do Amor is charming and peaceful, and the café on the same street served a tasty breakfast every day. The cabin only fits the bed; everything else outside lacks AC, so I’d sweat moving between rooms, using the kitchen, etc., which is obvious from the listing. Privacy is limited outside the cabin and bathroom—curtains don’t fully block gaps, and the locks on both the small door and the cabin were poor; the owner will probably fix that.

“Paz e aconchego perto de tudo”

Perfect for couples or anyone wanting calm near the beach; if you like the buzz, the house is also close to all the main village parties. The shower was a highlight—bathing in the rain inside was a beautiful, relaxing moment. I loved it so much I want to return.

The spot is right next to the main square, which made getting around a breeze, and the whole place feels blended with the surrounding nature – we even saw little monkeys playing in the trees every day. The garden chair is nice, but at night there’s no light, and we ran into a couple of hiccups with the mattress and the door locks that could use some fixing. Overall, a great location with a few minor annoyances.

“Os problemas que tive não estão relacionados com a propriedade!”

Staying in the forest‑set glamping at Beco do Amor was a treat – the décor was tasteful, the host and staff were friendly, and we even caught glimpses of wildlife while using the scented swimwear. Unfortunately, a construction site on the corner and a noisy car‑wash next door broke the peace, and the open‑plan bathroom felt exposed because of the tall building nearby. If you can tune out the noise, the charm still makes it a solid 10/10.
