“Sehr schönes Hotel”

The castle is very close to the fortress and hiking trails, and the room was spacious with excellent attention to detail. The bathroom was well equipped, and the hotel even has a small garden overlooking the Rhine. Despite the air conditioning, the room stayed warm.

The breakfast at Castle Reichenstein was rich and tasty, and the location was great. The staff were friendly. However, on Monday and Tuesday the menu was limited to the small bistro card, and the price‑performance ratio was unacceptable – it was completely overpriced.

The hotel is well located, with the added bonus of a view of the Rhine and a garden accessible to guests. The room equipment was generally very good, with an efficient and quiet fan for hot periods. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which is served at the castle a few minutes away! A great spot to stay in the region. A fridge in the room would have been nice, especially on very hot days.
