The place was clean, but when my husband, son, and I settled in we couldn’t sleep because of loud noise: a fight at about 5 am, doors slamming, feet dragging in the hallway, and people shouting all the time, showing zero respect for those trying to rest.

The welcome from Guilherme and his mom was top‑notch—super friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless, with fresh linens and bath towels, and the shared bathroom didn’t bother us at all. The hostel’s terrace is a cozy spot, complete with a sink, stove, and grill, plus a gorgeous view that made us feel right at home. Big thanks to Guilherme and his mom for treating our kid with cheese bread—what a sweet touch!

I really liked this hostel—everything was clean, quiet, and the owner is super friendly. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit São Lourenço. Highly recommend!
