“Misleading”

It’s a very charming old house in the centre of town, but we had stayed there before and weren’t told that this was the cheapest room in the old outbuildings, which turned out to be tiny.

“Stop over”

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, well‑maintained property; the first impression was excellent—the charming Cape Dutch‑style old house is full of character and very inviting. Heleen welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. Our room was neat, clean, and spacious enough for a couple, with everything needed for comfort. The bathroom was spotless and in very good condition. The property sits in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood, making it a peaceful place to relax. Breakfast was lovely, fresh, and more than sufficient to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and charming place to stay. Nothing to complain about.

“Guter Stopover”

The rooms were huge, offering everything you could need. Fresh drinking water was available every day, and the kitchen was a great place to cook if you didn't want to dine out in the evenings. The breakfast could have had a bit more variety, but what we did get was delicious. The floors are extremely noisy and creaky, making the place very sound‑prone.

“Beautiful property, very centrally located with secure parking.”

The property is beautifully decorated, with high ceilings and lovely furnishings. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the coffee and breakfast are tasty. The fridge in the room made a lot of noise at night, which was distracting. Breakfast hours were limited to 0700‑0830, so you had to rise early if you wanted to eat there.
