The owner was very nice, and there were no problems.

The spot is close to the beach, surrounded by tasty restaurants, and marks the start of the Kumano Kodo trail, which the owner knows well; the property itself is large, well equipped, and I had a great time staying there.

The place is nicely located, but the road noise made it hard to sleep; it’s dedicated to one group, so privacy is good, and the owner left us a key because we arrived late and stayed in touch throughout our stay.

The staff were very kind and helpful, and we felt very grateful when we left; the only downside was the steep stairs, which could be a problem for someone who struggles with climbing.
