The breakfast was superb, the location is great, and the bed is comfortable. The room was small enough that I couldn’t fit more than one armchair, so I ended up sitting on the bed most of the time, but that’s a minor issue for a short stay.

Freshly baked scones were waiting when we arrived, a brilliant touch that made the quiet stay even better, and the homemade preserves added a lovely breakfast experience. The stairs to our room were a bit steep, which might not suit everyone, and arriving 30 minutes early was frowned upon; it was hard to gauge the timing when traveling a long way.

We were greeted wonderfully, the room was spotless and very quiet, and the bed was supremely comfortable. The homemade shortbread was divine, though we skipped breakfast this time because of family commitments and are already looking forward to returning for it. The tea and coffee selection could be broader for us, but we are particular in our old age and found the options adequate.

The room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the village was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were lovely. Finding parking proved difficult, so we had to stop on the road and ask for directions; clearer signage at the gate would be a welcome improvement.

The instructions on how to locate this charming thatched house were very helpful, and parking was off road. The village, full of thatched properties, was very quiet. This place is probably the cleanest accommodation you will ever see, and the shower facilities were good. Breakfast was excellent, featuring local produce and a wide variety of options. A good pub just a two‑minute walk down the road served as an evening meal spot. The owners were friendly and welcoming, making this an excellent place to stay. There was nothing we disliked.
