Palawan Uno Hotel

The location was fine. I woke up at 4:00 AM because of a loud noise from one of the hotel’s appliances—probably the air‑conditioning unit or the refrigerator—disturbing my sleep. There was no communication about breakfast; we weren’t told it would be plated instead of a buffet. An unpleasant, odd smell lingered in the breakfast area. Overall, the hotel feels unclean and poorly maintained; mold and dust are noticeable even inside the elevator, which is concerning. This stay was unpleasant and the hotel needs major improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and guest communication.

The hotel is close to the airport, but the photos of the rooms are misleading and the room was not like the pictures, which was disappointing.

The hotel's quiet atmosphere was a welcome respite from the city's hustle and bustle, and the cleanliness of the room was top-notch. However, the real letdown was the musty smell that lingered in the room, which made it feel damp and uncomfortable. Despite this, the hotel's quality for the price was still pretty good, and the staff were helpful when I checked in late. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the smell issue really brought it down a notch.

“Satisfait”

The hotel's pleasant atmosphere was a nice surprise, but unfortunately, it was marred by early morning noise from the staff in the corridors, which made it hard to sleep. The pool area needed a good clean, with grimy walls and a murky pool that could have been clearer if the pumps were running continuously. It would be great to have a French TV channel, and it's not reasonable to expect guests to pay for a broken glass they didn't break.

“comfortable stay”

I stayed in room 302, which was a good size and had two queen-sized beds. The shower water was nice and tropical, and the location was handy to the airport and about 2km from the CBD. However, the heatpump was really noisy, and I had to turn it off at night because it was too humid. The restaurant was also a bit of a disappointment, as it was either closed in the evening or shut down after an hour of being open. I think it's best to get there early if you want to eat there.
