“Pretty place that need some TLC and staff who show some sort of basic customer care .”

It’s a pretty haveli, but badly maintained: our room wasn’t clean, the jet wash in the bathroom didn’t work, and nobody tried to fix it. We were told we could use a different room if we needed to go to the toilet. Communication was zero, and we were expected to pay the full over‑inflated price even though we didn’t have a functional bathroom. I’ve been coming to Pushkar for years and many tourists use this hotel, but this is the first time I’ve stayed here and I don’t understand why people keep coming back.

I love this place—it gives me so much peace even though Pushkar can be noisy. I’ve been there three times and every time I’ll stay again. It’s not a luxury hotel, it’s simple, but it has a charm that makes you want to stay. The staff are wonderful too.

The communal areas are nice, the traditional haveli style is appealing, and the restaurant is good, plus the location is great. Electricity is unreliable and the internet is not at all dependable, which caused me to lose a lot of money by missing work. There was a problem in Pushkar, so it wasn’t entirely the fault of the premises.

“For a short stay the hotel is fine, close to everything”

The spot is right by the lake and close to shops and cafés, and the courtyard is pretty nice, but the building clearly needs a refurbishment. The staff are a bit intrusive, and there’s music playing early in the morning; the room itself feels dated.
