The Carnarvon Motel is located 300 metres from Carnarvon city centre, featuring a swimming pool and on-site restaurant. Rooms include flat-screen TVs, electric kettles, and refrigerators, with en-suite bathrooms and free WiFi in public areas. The motel is close to One Mile Jetty, Carnarvon Airport, and Pelican Point Reserve, with Brockman Park just a 2-minute walk away.

The staff were friendly, check‑in was a breeze, and I felt safe inside the gated compound.

The room was fine, but the dinner was terrible – the website says the restaurant stays open to 830 pm, yet the staff told us the buffet closes at 8 pm and the food was cold. Fix your website. Booking wasn’t confirmed properly; I booked two rooms, a 3‑bed and a 4‑bed for seven men, but only two 3‑bed rooms were available and I had to negotiate an extra room, which was blamed. Disappointing after a whole day’s travel, arriving at 8 pm.

The property looked nice, rooms were very basic and priced just right; the beds were super comfy, the staff were friendly, and we enjoyed our stay. Honestly, for $200 a night we were happy.
