“Tranquilo”

Check‑in is very simple, the location is quiet and near points of interest. The beds are comfortable, the room has a private bathroom, and there’s a small snack shop and self‑serve drinks. The staff are very friendly. The bathroom is tiny and lacks ventilation, so the whole room gets damp. On the last day an unpleasant smell came from the sink, and the wooden ceiling seems to have moths or termites leaving dust.

The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Nothing else—service is very complete.

It’s a very nice, comfortable, and pleasant old house. The staff are eager to give you information about local attractions and attentive to any need. I think adding at least one TV in the living room or bedroom would be nice; otherwise everything is wonderful.

“Terrible and costly especially after being tired from a long trip”

Nothing positive. I arrived at 10:30 pm, no one was at the hotel and no one answered the phone. They “said” they sent me check‑in info but I never got any emails. I had to find another hotel at 11 pm on a Friday night—hard to do—and I won’t stay here again! The situation was totally inadequate and disappointing, costing me $95 for a new room.
