The beach bungalow had a wonderful setting, and it was great to relax in a hot tub on the balcony in the evening. The location was convenient for a 7‑11, one bar, and a laundrette. The hot water for the shower was hit‑and‑miss; half the time it was never more than lukewarm, but in the tropics that’s not too bad.

“A great place to unwind”

This place turned out to be a real gem, and I’ll definitely return. The villa was practically next to the beach—just 40 steps from the door to the sea—and offered on‑site parking plus a spa bath/jacuzzi on the sea‑facing patio. The room was modern and well appointed. While walking along the beach you can find restaurants that satisfy any foodie craving, all while watching the waves during the day and at night, and everything was very reasonably priced. The days were hot and the water warm—what more could you ask for? On the downside, breakfast was subpar; we even skipped it a couple of times. We had to cross the street to a sister hotel for the dining room, where the food was basic and not very fresh. If the resort isn’t busy, it might be better to order breakfast. The property still had a lot of building rubble around, and the staff seemed under‑trained for the resort’s standard, which could have improved the overall experience. The check‑in desk was an outdoor, un‑air‑conditioned hole in the wall, and the main receptionist—though friendly—struggled to understand requests.

“Great accommodation - Breakfast don’t bother!”

The villa was really nice and modern with a great view of the beach, but the breakfast was just a joke. Stale bread, curled up ham and the worst eggs I have ever encountered made me lose a day of our stay basically on the toilet as the breakfast had “side effects”. We eventually bought some breakfast bits in 7-11 because it was safer to eat, and I know it’s low season but come on guys it was so obviously bad.

The “VILLA” rooms were recently renovated and are great compared to the central block rooms that are dilapidated and have a bathroom in a very bad state, yet the cleanliness of the room was nonexistent. In three days of stay the room was never cleaned again and the sheets and towels were never changed.
