The room was roomy and I liked that.

The staff were quick and friendly, and they communicated well about key collection; the room was clean, the location was nice, and the Indian restaurant next door was tasty. However, finding the room was difficult and the reception was closed when we arrived. Small issues like missing shower hooks for the curtains, a wobbly bar fridge that didn’t fit on the shelf, an old TV with a shadow in the middle of the screen, and a sky that wasn’t set up meant we had to get someone in to fix it—though they did that very quickly.

The price was good and it was close to shops, but I was disappointed to get a room without an oven.

The staff were amazing; I arrived two hours early exhausted and they had a room ready for me within half an hour. I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like.
