The hosts are very likable, and the mill is situated deep in the woods, offering great hiking opportunities.

The location is very beautiful and quiet, right in the forest between the Mosel and the Rhine, and the owners are very friendly and accommodating.

The rooms are cozy with comfortable beds, and the food is very good; the trout price is reasonable, but the steak with sides is quite pricey.

The food is great, not many options but the owner cooks it wonderfully, the large room has a nice bathroom, and you can fully relax in nature. For hikers it’s a nice spot, you step straight onto the trail to the Ehrbachklamm. It was very quiet, so there was little noise, but the hotel is very remote in a valley and hard to find without navigation, and there are no nearby facilities.
