“Bom, vale a pena pós machupicchu”

Breakfast was decent, nothing special, typical for small towns: bread, tomato with cucumber, cheese, eggs, and freshly squeezed juice. The room was clean, the shower was hot, and it was good for resting. It isn’t in the town center, but that’s fine—it’s a pleasant walk.

The hostel is close to the train and bus station, so you can leave your backpacks there while heading to Machu Picchu. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but they’re enough for a night’s stay.

I stayed early for a trip to Machu Picchu and the staff gave us a lunch pack instead of breakfast, which was handy, and let us keep our luggage until we left. The shower was warm, but there was no elevator so we had to climb to the 4th floor, and the room only had two single beds instead of a double.

“OK option for AC”

Vladi, the reception manager, was very nice. The room was small and quite noisy, and the location was not ideal.

The location was good and it was cheap to stay in the Machu Picchu village, which was great. The staff were kind and explained the bus stop location and prices carefully. The common area (the dining place) and the rooms were a bit dark.
