The cleaning was thorough and the room was clean, but there was no door chain and the place was unmanned, which makes women feel uneasy.

Close to the hot spring, but I usually don’t review, yet it was so awful I had to: unbearable stench, strong cigarette and animal odor, the bathroom was even worse, the supplied amenities carried the smell, flies buzzed in the room, and it seems better to book directly with a local inn in Yuzawa.

We stayed here for one night to break up the trip and it turned out to be a very convenient choice. The self‑check‑in was excellent—simple and instant—and we really liked the location: the property is just a stone’s throw from the train station and the car‑rental point. Highly recommended!
