Xin Jing Zhan Homestay

The room was spacious and clean, with separate dry and wet areas, plenty of hangers and sockets, a friendly owner, good service, and selectable TV channels. The hairdryer was a bit small and hot, a drawer had a tiny cockroach, and a folding fan would help cool the room faster, but none of that stops me from staying again.

老闆們態度都超好，還會關心我們下雨記得帶傘。床是舒服的，雙人床還會給兩件被子. 五人房空間有點小，浴室也蠻小的，但是乾濕分離

The owner looked a bit stern at first but was actually very enthusiastic and kind to kids. The location was great, the room spacious, and the bed slept like a dream. The inn didn’t offer breakfast, yet a few minutes’ walk leads to a breakfast shop and a convenience store, which is very handy. If you drive, the owner will also point out good parking spots. Overall, it’s a high‑value place to stay. The bathroom door can be a bit sticky when pulled, so be careful. Occasionally the water temperature drops suddenly, though the heater is quick to warm it back up, so just keep an eye on the settings. These are minor quirks that can be managed.

The spot is right at Hualien’s back station, which is super convenient.
