“Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis”

The hotel sits right on the hill above Bad Gastein, just a three‑minute walk from the train station, and the view is impressive. Staff, especially in the dining room, were incredibly friendly and the spa area felt quiet and clean, with hardly any smoke smell outside. Food was solid – the half‑board buffet’s potato salad was a standout – but there was no air‑conditioning either in the restaurant or in the rooms, which made the summer evenings a bit sticky.

“Heerlijk hotel”

We loved the indoor pool – it was a nice break after a day of sightseeing – and the staff were always smiling and helpful. The bike storage was a secure lockable container, so we didn’t worry about our rides. All in all, a pleasant stay with the basics done right.

The rooms were really attractive, clean and comfortable, and the meals served were tasty enough to keep us satisfied. Considering the price, the overall value felt spot on, making it a solid choice for a short break.

The indoor pool is modest in size but well kept, and the sauna area adds a nice touch for relaxation. However, when the window is cracked at night on the street side, street noise can be pretty loud.
