Cozy rooms feature wooden beds, colourful furnishings, en-suite bathrooms, and 32-inch TVs. A lovely village inn. The staff, room, drinks, food, and overall ambience were all good.

We were greeted warmly and the atmosphere stayed friendly throughout. They kept a good selection of ales and beers. The room, bathroom, and towels were clean. The steak on Friday was excellent. There were a pool table, darts board, and books to use. The room and bathroom felt a bit dated, but I think updates are coming. Breakfast was over‑cooked and a bit pricey, so improvements would help.

The vibe was relaxed, the landlady was lovely, and the bedroom was comfortable with all the amenities. Breakfast was very nice. I just wish we had stayed longer.

Friendly staff, but the place was not very clean, floors were sticky, toilets leaked, and showers only had cold water—no hot water at all.
